Smoked Punjabi Kadhai Meat

Ingredients (4 Servings)
- 400 grams mutton
- 3/4 tablespoon garlic paste
- 3/4 cup or 2 ½ teaspoon refined oil
- Bay Leaf – 2 leaves
- Salt to taste
- 3/4 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 2 and ½ Cups Chopped tomato
- 3/4 tablespoon ginger paste
- 3/4 cup or 2½ teaspoon onion paste
- 3/4 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1½ teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 Tablespoon Forever Leaves Smoked Meat Masala
- Step 1 Saute onion and spices.
Heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin and bay leaves. When cumin seeds splutter, add the ginger, garlic and onion to it. Sauté it over high heat till it turns light brown. Next, add garam masala, salt, turmeric, coriander powder and red pepper.
- Add meat and cook.
Keeping on high flame, add meat and cook until it changes colour. Next, add some water. Lower the heat and cover the kadhai. Let the meat cook and keep stirring occasionally, till the water dries up and oil separates. Then add tomatoes and let it simmer, till oil separates. Now add Forever Smoked Masala to the dish, mix it and cover it with a lid for a few minutes so that the smokiness settles in to the meat.
- Garnish and Serve
Serve hot and garnish it with coriander leaves. You can pair it with steamed rice or chapati.
